Who we are

Meet Our Family

At Squires Cardigan Cottage, raising exceptional puppies is more than a passion—it's a commitment built on professional expertise, lifelong learning, and a dedication to health, safety, and responsible breeding.

Chris brings nearly 20 years of experience as a Director of Environmental Health and Safety, where protecting the health and well-being of others is at the core of his profession. That same attention to detail, risk management, and commitment to excellence carries over into every aspect of our breeding program. From maintaining a clean, enriching environment to overseeing puppy safety, socialization, and daily care, Chris helps ensure every puppy is raised in a secure, structured, and loving home.

Ana combines more than a decade of experience in breeding, grooming, and training dogs with a professional career in healthcare as a Registered Nurse. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. Growing up around working dogs and responsible breeding instilled in her the importance of genetic health, sound temperament, proper nutrition, and early puppy development. Today, she applies evidence-based practices and ongoing research to give every puppy the healthiest possible start in life.

Together, our backgrounds in healthcare and safety shape everything we do. Every breeding decision, health screening, socialization experience, and daily interaction is guided by the same principles we practice in our professional careers: prevention, education, attention to detail, and compassionate care.

When you choose a puppy from Squires Cardigan Cottage, you're choosing a family that is committed to raising healthy, well-socialized Cardigan Welsh Corgis in a safe, enriching environment and providing the knowledge and support you can trust long after your puppy comes home.
